The Key Members of Our Team
Martin Friedrichs – Founding Partner – Martin is a lifelong Westchester resident who lives in New Rochelle. He has an industrial engineering background. Prior to founding this company he has spent decades as a corporate executive, primarily in the healthcare industry.
Jonathan Friedrichs – Partner / Operations and Sales – Jonathan (nephew of Martin) is focused on keeping all aspects of this business coordinated in support of both our current customers and potential future customers. He is there to work through any questions or issues you may have. He has an M.Ed degree -prior to this business he had a career as a teacher.
Sheik Hassan – Partner / Lead Installer and Technician – Sheik has a BS in Electronic Engineering and first worked on mobility equipment supporting the Eastern Paralyzed Veterans Association (1986 -1999). He has been installing stairlifts since 1992 in addition to earning the rank of Master Sergeant in the U.S. Army.
Reggie Edwards – Partner / Lead Installer and Technician – Reggie has over a decade of experience installing and supporting stairlifts and wheelchair lifts. Before joining us, he performed elevator installations. He is familiar with virtually every stairlift model manufactured.
Tamara Friedrichs – Marketing and Logistics Management – Tamara (daughter of Martin) works the phones and is often the first person you will talk to. She also manages our ordering and inventory processes as well as getting the word out about our company – so you could find us.
Daren Ramswamy – Senior Installer and Technician – Daren (nephew of Sheik) is an installation and support specialist.
John Samalot – Customer Adviser – John focuses on helping families through the evaluation and selection process.
Randye Friedrichs – Administrative & Financial Management – Randye provides office support and assists on phones. She also manages the administrative functions to allow the business to run smoothly.
Joe Fiorentino – Co-founder – Joe deeply enjoyed working in a family business that focused on helping other families live safely and comfortably in their own homes. Prior to this business, Joe ran other small businesses in the real estate improvement and renovation areas. Sadly, he passed away in 2012. An incredible guy he is dearly missed. Numerous other individuals and resources are available as needed. They may be at your home during an installation or service.

Westchester Stairlift LLC provides 7 days a week from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. phone support coverage. We always try to answer the phone live and do so over 90% of the time. We make every effort to promptly respond to any questions or concerns from our customers. We prioritize service calls that may involve a safety issue or any issues that impact a customer not being able to use the lift.
